We’re two friends who grew up in Malaysia, went to college together in the US, and eventually moved to Chicago. Missing the flavors of home and sharing a deep love for food, we started Nimama’s Sambal to bring a taste of Malaysia back into our everyday lives.
Malaysian food is full of culture, flavor, and memories. For us, a good sambal instantly brings us back home. Cook with it, eat it straight out of the jar, or slap it onto whatever you like. Our vision is simple - make good food and share it with the world.
